Shine on.

Well I am pretty sure this is my year to shine! I am happy with the way things are heading and am feeling pretty good about everything right now. I will be 30 in 3 more sleeps! I am winning tons of cool scrapbooking stuff, made it on an awesome design team and just got offered a wickedly cool proposition from a very close friend of mine to potentially make some cash off what I love to do, so creatively speaking life is good! Now if I could only stretch my days a little longer, hire a nanny/housekeeper and my own personal chef things would be even more tickedty Boo! Dream on. Anyhoo I hope that this next chapter in my life brings me even more happiness and a whole bunch of financial freedom. I just gotta keep lovin, and livin, and laughin and smiling.......shine on always.

Love Letter to my girls

I truly am so grateful for all the wonderful ladies I have become friends with this past year. They are not only my scrappin girls, they are my go to girls, the girls I know I could say anything to and they would still love me. They all struggle with the same issues I do......potty training, scrapbooking addictions, weight, balance, etc. They know the real me, and they still wanna hang out with me. My life would be pretty plain Jane and empty without them... you know who you are! Except Courtenay, she threatens little kids and stuff and can be kinda rude and mean, LMAO. You are my rocks, my kleenex, my laughter, and my inspiration! You are my girls and I wouldn't trade you for anything, except maybe all the new Prima lines for 2009. OK not even that. lol. Thanks ladies, here is to another creative, laughter filled year!

So I have recently started to participate in challenge blogs which I adore and get a real creative kick start by doing so. I just found out that I won last weeks challenge on Ad This, and my prize is a bunch of different masks Sweet! also I get to be a guest designer for there next challenge, what a huge honor as I have never been a guest designer before!! Which leads me to my next bit of super exciting news, My friend Koren sent me a msg telling me her fave blog was takin applications to be part of there design team. So I threw caution to the wind and went for it. Last night I recieved an email offering me the position! How freakin awesome is that? One of my goals for this 2009 was to make it onto a design team, but 2 in one day? I am completely thrilled! Thanks Koren for believing in me, sharing in my excitement and for being a super, awesome, fantabulous friend! Wow in 36 days I will be turning the big 30! How do I feel about it? Easy, I feel fantabulous, I think it is going to be my best year yet. I could mope and sulk and whine to everyone about how crappy it is that I am going to be another year older, but whining is for sissy's! suck it up buttercup. lol. But really, I am exactly where I wanna be in life right now. I have two beautiful, amazing children who make my heart grow more each and every day. I have a supportive, respectful, husband whom i trust more than myself, and who love's me unconditionally, I have fabulous friends who totally rock, an amzing family, A house, a flourishing business, the list goes on, and on my friends. What really do I have to be worried about? whoopidee doo I am another year older, I mean let's get real that will continue to happen for the REST of my LIFE~! So I choose to see the glass half full, with a super awesome umbrella and an orange slice on the side. Bring on 30, cause I am so looking forward to it.

The Little engine that could

So I went out last week and sold close to 2000.00 in advertising, in only 2 days!!! I always beat myself up about how I am not a good salesperson and yadda yadda. How Ray could do so much better, and I will never be as good as him with all his experience. and then I went out and kicked some serious selling butt! I am still making follw up calls and getting people to get on board, so it just keeps going higher and higher! Keep in mind this is per month, so that is a huge chunk of change for the publication, so until next time....I think I can...I think I can...I know I can.. I will!

Pinch me I must be dreaming!

Ok So Monday morning I wake up, check my emails, and there is a scrap in style newsletter. So I check it out, and scroll down to discover that MY layout was selected for layout of the week! In the scrappin world this is a pretty big freakin deal, or at least to me. Considering there is over 14,000 users worldwide on SIS, and SOOOOO much incredible talent that post pages on that site. Needless to say I am so totally thrilled and honored to have been chosen. I have started participating in challenges as well, and find it really makes me scrap outside the box. I LOVE them! Now if I could only get myself on a design team. Life rocks!

Extra, Extra, read all about it......

ok, so Ray and I froze our asses off doing distribution of the carsgone publication today. A tad chilly I must say. So it is now available at over 650 locations across Edmonton and Area, Including all the Partsources, JB's Automotives, XS Cargo's, lots of Sobeys and Canadian Tires just to name a few. So go freakin pick it up cause we froze our butts off to make it available for you, lol. No guilt or pressure whatsoever. We also made some serious and specific goals while driving around and also a plan of action to achieve those goals. This is going to be a year of more hard work, but I also believe it is going to be super successful as well.
