Well Happy Monday everyone, and a sunny start to a brand new Month of sunshine and flip flops (finally). So today is my baby brothers bday, he is turning 19 (spring chicken) so a big huge happy birthday to him, play safe, and try to stay outta trouble! lol. Also I am going with my Mom and both my kidlets to a playschool fieldtrip to a working farm for the day. We are going to have pony rides, get to feed all sorts of animals, big and small, have a picnic, and a wagon ride as well.

I am also being published 4 times in the Canadian Scrapbooker Basics Volume 4 issue that is being released today!! I would also like to add that is a record for them, they have never requested that many layouts from one person all at once so woo hooo! Can't wait to get my hands on a copy!

Oh wait it can I am also starting today as designer for sisterhood of scrap, the super amazing, inspirational blog with it all! Go check out my first challenge of the month and you could win a super duper sponsored prize! http://sisterhoodofscrap.blogspot.com/

Snow in May???

Ok seriously, I need to move to a warmer climate where I am not required to shovel 9 months out of the year. If I wake up to snow one more time this so called spring, I may have to scream just a little if thats ok with you. I yearn to wear flip flops and capris, so come on Mother nature. Jokes over, bring on the sunshine! Pretty please?

2 Years of Love.

Ray and I are celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary today. It seems like we just got married, where does the time go? Alot has happened and grown since then, we have become successful business owners, we have raised two (mostly) well behaved happy well balanced children. We have taught eachother new skills, and shared knowledge with one another. We have gained confidence, and helped eachother grow emotionally every single day. We have supported one another when the other needed supporting. We have given eachother hugs whenever the opportunity presented itself. We have laughed together, prayed together, and cried together. We have survived birthday parties, and weight gain. We have weathered sunshine and Rain. We compliment eachother so nicely, and are stronger than ever. I am looking forward to growing old with this man I call my husband.

Thank you for 2 years of joy. Laughter. and love.

Happy Mothers Day everyone!!!

Well I am officiallly on strike for the next 24 hours or so. We should have a week dedicated to us not just one little ole day, but I will take what I can get, lol. A whole day of no cooking, or cleaning, heaven...I plan to milk it for all it is worth. I also want to pay tribute to my Mom for being amazing and loving me, and helping me out whenever I may need her. Also I am so thankful for Ray's amazing Mother, she is one of the most genuine, sweetest people I have ever been blessed enough to know. Cheers to them, and to all you amazing overworked, underpaid, but super loved Moms and Grandmas out there!

Happy Mothers day!!! You are the best!

Fortune Cookies anyone...

I thought these would be sweet to give a Momma for Mothers day instead of a card...The fortunes say things like, smile you are fabulous, or go jump in a rain puddle, or love, beacuse you are loved. The Tea & Sweet cakes kit worked perfect for this fun little project! Cant wait to give it to My Mom!

And a Sweet Layout....

NSD Croptacular Rocked!

Well our first ever very own crop turned out to be a smashing success! There were about 20 creative, talented ladies that attended, and there were oodles of prizes to be had! We played lots of fun games, and let our creative juices flow! I finished 20 pages! That is equal to a whole album!!! Sweet deal. OH and a big huge congrats to Janice for winning the prestigious Worlds Best Scrapbooker trophy!!

Thank you so much to Rachel for all her hard work organizing, and also to all our super cool sponsors for donating food, prizes, and love! My fave part of a crop is learning new techniques, and borrowing cool new stuff to try out! Here are a couple of my fave layouts from the weekend.
