Project Life.

Well this is my first shot at Becky Higgins Project Life and let me tell you I am loving it!!! It makes me more aware of everyday things, the little, so easy to forget important things. The pre-cut journalling cards, fun designs, and cool page protectors make it so super easy to document the everyday. I apologize for the crap photos, it is late, and this is just as good as it gets right now. Click the picture to see it in ginormous prportions.

To help with the organization of such a huge undertaking I have a notebook designated to keeping track of my days by simple point form notes that I think matter. I also created a folder on my desktop for all my pictures and organize them by date to keep it fool proof.

Easy peasy lemon squeezy. I cannot wait to see the whole year documented. I think out of all my treasured scrapbooks this one will be dearest to my heart, because it is the real us. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

Enjoy every moment, create happy memories.

I di all five of these layouts in about 5 hours which is really good considering how much talking there was and inhaling of salt and vinegar chips and mini peanut butter cups ;)

A load of Scrap & a GIVEAWAY!

This is what I have been up to lately, even though I haven't been blogging much I sure have been making time to scrap with all my awesome, most favorite friends! I love my scrappy girls so much and am so blessed by all the friendsships that bloomed from this amazing outlet. So to celebrate all these amazing girls, not mentioning any names, Kari, Koren, Annette, Dawn, Daryth, Rachel (even though you shouldn't be included cause you for some ridiculous reason have retired from scrapbooking), and the list goes on.....I am doing a GIVEAWAY!!!

Tell me which layout is your favorite from this huge crazy ginormously long, picture overloaded post and you could win this..... (click on the picture to see all the goodies BIGGER)

PS. I am published in this January issue of Scrapbook Trends!!! I will draw the winner a week from today!

This one I scraplifted from the amazing Maggie Holmes, What she did with the American Crafts tags is pure genius!

Happy thoughts

Well I have been the worst blogger so far this year, so much going on in my world. Dawn, one of the girls I scrapbook with has taken a HUGE leap and done what so many of us wish we could do, she is opening up her own scrapbooking store!! This is so fantastic and we are all super thrilled for her and ready to break down the doors to buy it all up ;)

Dawn has also made a dream come true for me as well! She has asked me to teach classes at her store!! This is super exciting as it is right up my alley and I already have a ton of ideas going through my head. Thank you so much for thinking of me Dawn. I am so pumped! You can visit Dawns blog here the store opens in June!!

Check out what I did to Taylas hair for Crazy hair day! She said she loved it and wants to do her hair like this all the time. Ha ha!

On another note, if you have read the book Water for Elephants, go see the movie they did a fantastic job, and I loved every minute! Not to mention Robert Pattison looks quite dreamy with color in his cheeks! Two thumbs up from this avid reader and movie buff ;)

Right now I am reading a handful of books and have them throughout my house....The Happiness Project, Shit my Dad says, Memory Keepers Daughter, A wolf at the table, and I think I am forgetting one. I heart books.

Today and always I am sending out happy positive thoughts to my best friend, She is going for her 3rd try at In-Vitro tomorrow. It has been a long emotional roller coaster ride for her and her hubby, and I am looking forward to crying tears of joy when she tells me the news. Please dear God if you are reading my blog or listening to my heart, give those two a baby. You know they would be amazing parents and deserve this gift of love and life. I also vow to throw her the best baby shower anyone has ever seen, and to lavish love and attention on this new little person. Amen.

Please whoever reads this send her happy thoughts of healthy babies, and a growing belly! Who knows she could even have more than one!!

I hope you all have a fabulous Wednesday! Treat each day like it's your birthday!

PS. If you have not checked out Pinterest yet, what are you waiting for? It is my new addiction, inspiration 24/7, love it! Go here now

the happiest place on earth isn't Disneyland!!!

it's right here in my happy little art studio....This has always been a huge dream for me to have an art room with walls and windows. I was so happy with my paint choice the name of the paint is Echo lake.....makes me happy ;)

The curtain rods are from Jysk and were a steal at only 7.00 a piece! I love that I can display all my latest pages and some old favorites, like the one of my great Grandpa.

All the furniture in the room is from IKEA, another very happy place that I could spend forever in. I got all my baskets off Kjiji for only 2.00 each!! Awesom deal! and I have a ton of spares. I really purged when putting stuff back in here, so I actually have empty drawers and boxes which I am sure will take no time at all to fill.

I cannot wait to find the time to actually scrap in this space, I think this weekend we have an appointment ;) Happy creating!!!
