Some Christmas cards

Vicki over at APOS! challenged us to make cards using other colors besides the traditional green/red. This was right up my alley since I had already purchased the whole Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly line, and new stampin up goodies from my friend Dawn.

So I whipped up some cards and was super happy with the way they turned out. The blue snowflake one I created using stencils from the $ store and turquoise glimmer mist! I have tons more xmas cards to create since I give out about 30-40 every year, yikes! Maybe Hallmark isn't such a bad idea, lol.

This one was my fave of the bunch.

My Bucket List

Hey everyone! Well it's challenge time again, and I was chosen to do the all about me challenge this month. I had asked this question for the Question of the day awhile back and it really got me thinking that this would make a great scrapbook page and also be a fabulous reminder of my life goals. So if you still don't know what a bucket list is, or haven't seen the movie yet (fabulous BTW) you can always call it your "Life Goals", Aspirations, etc.

Stop putting your dreams off for "some day" . . . Take inspiration from the movie "The Bucket List" and ask yourself: If I had one year left to live, what would I be sure to do? Create a list of things you want to do before you kick the bucket and start crossing items off your list, today.

APOS! October Design Team Reveal!

OK, so first I would like to confess I did all these projects in less than 3 hours!!! Talk about in the nick of time, lol. Well I always work best under pressure, so I hope you ladies enjoy what I created on a total whim. As you all know by now, the fabulous Alissa allowed us to choose our own goodies to play with, it was a very hard decision, but in the end I chose the AMPLFY line by Sassafrass. I am sure alot of people like the Sass papers but are maybe a little overwhelmed and unsure on how to use such busy papers & Embellishments. So I thought it would be a good choice to play with this month.

Here is a mini made of envelopes, I utilized all the fabulous strips that come on the end of the Sassafrass papers. This is a book of my pet peeeves, fave places to shop, music, foods, etc....I plan on saving tags, recipts, etc to put in the envelopes.

Here is a sign I made as a reminder to take it easy in my hectic life....INspired by the fabulous Anna Nalick

These papers actually surprised me by how much you can do with them, I even contemplated doing a Xmas card, but ran out of time. Go check out what the rest of the DT picked and created, Jen , Vicki , Valerie , Cori-Lyn , Cheryl Have a colorful, vibrant day!!!

Halloween Decorations Cheap and Easy!

<
So I convinced my business partner Billy to have a Halloween Spooktacular at his place Saturday, I was in charge of games and decorations. Although I kinda dropped the ball on both, seeing as I was so crazy with the print deadline this month. However I redeemed myself by taking an old vintage 70's tacky frame and turning it into a HUGE Spooky Sign! Now grab your imagination and picture it with big black tarantula and wispy spider webs!

I also created too really big custom tombstones, but forgot to take pics of them (will post at a later date). SO without further ado here is my sign, which by the way I plan on upcycling into a really cool headboard with the help of some funky IKEA fabric when I am done with it. Happy Halloween everyone! Hope you have a day filled with treats!
