Holy Crap it has been a while!

Just wanted to pop in and say hey, I know I have been extremely negligent on my posting lately. We are selling our house, and upgrading to this......

I can't wait!!! I am gaining an extra 1200 square feet, a walk in closet, a jacuzzi tub, a pantry, and a bonus room! But it is alot of work on top of Carsgone deadlines, hiring graphic designers and sales reps for both Calgary and Edmonton. Did I also mention I still have a family to take care of, clothe, feed, bathe, etc.

This all leaves very little time to blog, and scrap sadly. Anyhoo, I hope everyone id out there enjoying the sunshine, I did manage to sneak off to Toy'R'Us today with the kids and buy a new kiddie pool, Can't wait to go for a dp ;) Have a fabulous day!!!

American Crafts Dear Lizzy Challenge

The challenge this week was to do a layout or card using two or more products from the amazing, super stinkin cute Dear Lizzy line. Well anything these products touch seem to turn to something fabulous, I have been using them on everything I create lately. A Pile Of Scrap! March Design Team Reveal

This months kit that we got from A Pile Of Scrap! was by far my favorite, this new Lush line from My minds Eye is so pretty and esay to work with I really did not have to put alot of work into this album. I just enjoyed playing with all the yummy goodness! Check out these amazing flocked chipboard letters, I love them!!



I have been extremely busy lately with my business and such that I have not had alot of time to scrap, so this Lush line was the answer to my prayers.... I was contemplating whether or not I would have time to do an album for my Mom for her upcoming 50th (today) but did not think I could pull it off.

Spread your wings

I can't believe this little one is turning 6 right away.....Part of me wishes she would stop growing and stay right where she is. Still want to snuggle with me, and hold my hand in public, Kiss me goodbye at school. Let me read books to her. Pretty soon she will be reading them to me (tear). Then the other part of me can't wait to see her blossom into a young lady, watch her become more independent, find out who she is and what her passions are. I know I can't freeze time, but I can try and cherish every moment of sweetness with her. Squeeze her tighter, give her lovin every chance I get. And then my dear friends I just have to let go a little and watch her spread her wings and fly.

So I have been playing with my Cricut, and fun new spring/summer releases from my fave manufactures! Here are some bits of randomness that I have been upto.

A sympathy card for my Aunt....

A card made for My Grandma in law who is 86 and was just released from the hospital after having a heart attack.....the kids also made her cards and happy pictures (which she adores)

and I played along with my fellow dt gal Cheryl's March challenge to scrap the inside of the card too!

This was my March challenge over at A Pile of Scrap! To use a die cut paper......I also must admit I am hardcore in love with the new Dear Lizzy line. It fills my heart with happiness!

I also scored big time today and found this wall art at a dollar store!!! The quality was extremely good, and it was on sale for $3.00!!!! There was even some flowers and branches that I didnt use. I love it.

I have been dying to get my hands on this....this amazing ribbon especially the pink floral stuff is hands down my number one product that I simply must have from all the new spring/summer releases.

lucky, lucky, girl....

Well I got it all together and took a pic of all the yummy goodness I got for my bday, some was bought for me, and some I got with my birthday $$$ and giftcards. I am super spoiled, and this picture just goes to show that the law of attraction really does work!!
