Well, I am now officially 30! And I must say it feels pretty darn fantastic! I feel so happy and blessed in my life right now, and totally feel like this is when my life will really start happening for me. On my b-day I woke up to a dozen white roses, an ice cap and a bluberry muffin. I went to work (only a little) I must admit I stopped for an hour hot stone massage and also made a stop to buy myself a new shirt and scarf. And what birthday would be complete without a stop at Urban Scrapbook? lol.
That evening Ray took me to Red Lobster for dinner and surprised me with my Mom, brother, Grandma ,Granpa, & Ray's Mom Diane waiting for us there. I pigged out, ate way too much and enjoyed every bit of it. After dinner Ray and I got in the car where he told me he had some kind of surprise for me and asked that I put on a blindfold. Now at this point I totally thought he was taking me to Fantasyland hotel or something like that..little did I know.
Finally after some serious vertigo, the car stopped and he led me to this unknown surprise.....I was totally freaked out being completely blind, and threatened to punch Ray in the nose (in a loving sort of way) if I ran into a wall. He removed the blindfold for me, and everyone yelled surprise!!! I opened my eyes to about 80 of my closest friends and family members, all these super special people in one room. It was the greatest surprise of my life! I have never felt so loved and appreciated, it was such a gift to have everyone there. My husband truly rocks!
My scrapbooking girls all did a super cool album for me, Ray's Mom and Ken bought me art classes that start at the end of the month, Ray bought me an I-Phone, My Grandma bought me a cricut, all in all I got over 2000.00 in cash & gifts!!!! Holy crap, I should turn 30 every year~! I am totally spoiled, and have never had so much loot to go and spend on myself, now if only I could find some time to go shopping!
