Everyday moments

Well just another crazy hectic day in our house today. Ray is out on the road hitting up dealers, and selling, selling, selling. I am at home, trying to do laundry, dishes, prepare lunch, supper, make beds, design ads for dealers, call dealers, answer the carsgone line, create events for my scrappin group on Facebook, and still try and find time for my neglected children, lol. Don't feel to terrible for them, I bribe them by building forts in the livingroom and feeding them marshmallows and goldfish crackers in there new hideout. lol. too cute. I went up to check on them and Tayla was pretending to be a dog "hatching" new puppies out of her belly. Then River got to choose which puppy to take home. oh the imaginations of little people. That's it for now. Here is some everyday quotes for you to enjoy.

“He who is not everyday conquering some fear has not learned the secret of life.”
~Ralph Waldo Emerson

“Miracles happen everyday, change your perception of what a miracle is and you'll see them all around you.”
~Jon Bon Jovi

“The remarkable thing is, we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.”
~Charles R. Swindoll

Time After Time....

Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick,
and think of you
caught up in circles confusion--
is nothing new
Flashback--warm nights--
almost left behind
suitcases of memories,
time after--

sometimes you picture me--
I'm walking too far ahead
you're calling to me, I can't hear
what you've said--
Then you say--go slow--
I fall behind--
the second hand unwinds

if you're lost you can look--and you will find me
time after time
if you fall I will catch you--I'll be waiting
time after time

after my picture fades and darkness has
turned to gray
watching through windows--you're wondering
if I'm OK
secrets stolen from deep inside
the drum beats out of time--

if you're lost...

you said go slow--
I fall behind
the second hand unwinds--

if you're lost...
...time after time
time after time
time after time
time after time

Layout above is for the dreamgirls challenge....one of my fave songs had to play. xoxo

Scrapbooking + Chocolate + Trash Talk = Friendship

Life is pretty hectic right now, yet I am still finding time to create. I don't really care what I create, as long as I am painting, distressing, squirting, or gluing something. lol. I am looking forward to this Wednesday with all my girls at Brianne's house. My how our little itty bitty group has grown and flourished, we are now 35 members! I feel like a proud Mama duck watching over her flock, watching them grow, and learn to fly.

These talented ladies have learned from eachother and inspired one another, and that is fantastic to be apart of. Our friendships have grown, right along with our creativity, and I am so grateful for all these girls. We have gone from 8 girls meeting up in someones basement to renting halls, and hosting our very own crops!!! wowzas! You girls rock my world, Happy Easter!!!

Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.

My baby girl turned 5!!

Wow does time fly. Tayla turned 5 yesterday and seems to be growing right before my eyes. She is the tallest girl in her class, and I was buying her size 6 pants 4 months ago!! She is so full of sweetness, and seems to be more obsessed with art than I am if thats even possible, lol. She is definitley a chip off the old block. NOw don't get me wrong along with all that sweetness comes a whole whack of attitude, and pickiness! She drives me bonkers some days, refuses to wear her Brand new Rain coat and boots which SHE picked out! Of course after I have taken all the tags off and thrown out reciepts. What a punk. lol. She is an Aries through and through that girl, and I love her to pieces, including every stubborn bone in her body. Now if I could just find a way to slow down her growing, maybe I will have to start giving her expresso in the morning, lol.
